Chief Oba Otudeko

Chief Oba Otudeko, (OFR) is the Chairman of the board. He is a Fellow of the chartered Institute of Bankers, UK; Fellow of the Institute of Chartered and corporate Accountants, UK; Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Nigeria and Fellow of the Institute Chartered Secretaries and administrators of Nigeria. He has attended management courses at several prestigious institutions, amongst which are the Harvard business School, the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Arthur D. Little School of Management.

He is at present Chancellor, Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University), Ago-Iwoye and a member of Africa Regional Advisory Board of London Business school. In September, 2006, he was elected the 16th President of the Nigeria stock exchange, thereby assuming the responsibility of inspiring step change transformation of the Nigerians capital market. In recognition of his many contributions to the economic and social development of Nigeria, Oba Otudeko has, at various times been conferred with many awards and honours amongst which are Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2000, and upgraded to the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2003; honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; Paul Harris Fellow award of Rotary International; honorary Citizen of Dallas Texas, USA and Honorary Citizen of Meziara, Lebanon. He is the Chairman of the Boards of FBN Bank (UK) Ltd.; First Trustees Nigeria Ltd.; and the Nigerian-South Africa Chambers of Commerce. He is also on the Board of many companies in Nigeria and has been the Chairman of the Honeywell group for over twenty years.
